We’re often reminding businesses about the importance of generating positive customer reviews online. A little bit of positivity goes a long way, and it’s critical to get your customers talking about your company online. After all, 84 percent of people trust online reviews as much as their friends.

This online review card is a quick way to help your customers find your Google My Business Page to leave a review. After an employee works with a customer, ask them to give the customer the card to leave a review. The card has short instructions for the customer on how to leave their feedback. Then, they can simply use the QR scanner on their smartphone or type in the shortened URL we’ve generated to reach the review site.
Recently, we’ve been helping insulation contractors across the country who are in the Owens Corning® Certified Energy Expert® program to generate more online reviews. One Certified Energy Expert® member went from having a handful of reviews on their Google My Business Page to now having nearly 100 reviews since implementing the card into their processes. They currently boast a 5-star rating.
By arming your team members with these cards, you are showing your customers that you value what they have to say. You can also incentivize your team by offering giveaways or a small bonus for those who are mentioned by name in a review. Plus, you can promote giveaways for customers who leave a review (for example, monthly drawings for those customers who provide feedback).
